The game now unfolds through four story-connected phases:
Intro & Awakening β A new text-based intro sets the tone as the player regains consciousness and reactivates the terminal.
Repair β Gather scrap to restore the bunkerβs damaged capacitors and restore limited functionality.
Automation β Unlock and activate CrankBots to automate power generation.
Expansion β Construct ScrapBots to begin large-scale recovery efforts and resource gathering.
π¬ Text Cutscenes
Two new dialogue-style Text Cutscenes expand the story between phases, introducing the AIβs personality and hints of the world outside.
These sequences maintain the minimalist terminal aesthetic and deepen the sense of isolation and progress.
π‘ Dynamic Lighting System
The bunkerβs lighting now directly responds to your power levels.
Low power dims the scene, while restored systems brighten the environment — bringing life back to the underground facility.
π§ Resource & Power Overhaul
Gather Scrap: +3 scrap (manual, no power cost) 1.5s cooldown.
Repurpose Equipment: +10 scrap, costs 5 power 2.5s cooldown.
Crank Power: Generate energy manually or automate with CrankBots.
Batteries: Store excess energy for efficiency and stability.
π€ New Automation Tier β ScrapBots
Once stabilized, build ScrapBots to automate resource collection.
Each bot generates scrap but consumes power — forcing you to balance production and consumption.
π₯οΈ Interface Overhaul
New terminal-inspired layout with clearer structure and feedback.
New bot monitoring window showing live activity and drain rates.
π Balance & Tweaks
CrankBots: Produce +1.5 power every 1.5 seconds.
ScrapBots: Consume 0.5 power every 1 seconds, generate 1 scrap.
Improved pacing between manual and automated play.
Enhanced visuals, spacing, and text clarity.
